Introduction to Wombat Mange Treatment

This course provides a basic introduction to wombat mange treatment. It provides a best-practice approach that complies with the Code of Practice for injured, sick and orphaned wombats, the Biodiversity Conservation Licence, and the Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority (APVMA) permits. Learners will also be guided through internal procedures and protocols for Wildcare's mange treatment program.

Elena Guarracino

This course was developed by Elena Guarracino, the Wildcare wombat mange program co-ordinator.

Elena has been treating wombats with mange since 2008, during which time she has conducted extensive mange training, and established and co-ordinated mange programs.
